Instructional Development Account Computer Classroom - Occasional Use Computer Classroom - Semester Use Instructional Computing Listserv

Development accounts and access to COHIC labs are available for all instructors who teach in the College of Humanities (including Faculty, GATs, Adjuncts, etc.). This account provides 700 MB of server storage space on the Instructional Computing Aristotle server, seamless access to this space from the Instructional Computing workstations located in ML 511, ML 512, and the Instructional Computing workstations located in each department in the LSB building. The account includes a door code that provides access to ML511 and ML512. The storage space can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection and an SSH client.

Computer classrooms are available on a space available basis for classes that need occasional access to the internet, presenation capabilities, and audio and video capabilities. Requests for classrooms can be made on-line. Classes that have signed up for regular use of a classroom throughout the semester have priority, so there is no guarantee that a classroom will be available for one time or occasional use, but we will do our best to accommodate every class we can. For more information about COHIC classrooms, click here. To reserve a lab for occasional use, click the link below.

Reserve a lab for one time/occasional use

A computer classroom can be reserved for use for the entire semester. The policy is that each class has access to the classroom one time a week. In this way we can accommodate more classes. Space is limited so we cannot guarantee that every class that wants to reserve a classroom for the entire semester will be able to. However, we do our best to accommodate all the classes that would like to use a computer classroom once a week. It is expected that classes that use the classrooms on a regular basis have a technology component that takes advantage of the resources available in the classrooms. For more information about COHIC classrooms, click here. To apply to teach in a classroom during the upcoming semester click the link below.

Instructional Computing maintains a listserv, COHLATTE@listserv.arizona.edu, that all account holders are automatically subscribed to. It is our primary means for communicating information about our services including upcoming workshops, changes in our classrooms, virus alerts and other information that may be useful.
