The COHIC staff is available to assist with projects, assist with software and equipment available for check out, as well as give orientations to the computer labs. As the staff is busy with many projects, we recommend that if you need assistance that you schedule a time well ahead of any deadlines. For more information on the COHIC staff or to set up an appointment, click here.

Each semester COHIC presents a number of workshops on integrating technology into teaching and the curriculum. Detailed descriptions, dates and times of these workshops and a sign-up form are located in the workshops section of this site. For more information on COHIC workshops or to sign up for workshops, click here.

Instructional Computing has equipment available for check out including, laptops, projectors, digital cameras and transcribing equipment. It is the instructor's responsibility to make an appointment to learn how to use it prior to picking it up. The staff does not provide technical support outside of the College's computer classrooms. For more information about COHIC equipment or to reserve equipment, click here.

Computer classrooms are available on a space available basis for classes that need occasional access to the internet, presenation capabilities, and audio and video capabilities. Requests for classrooms can be made on-line. Classes that have signed up for regular use of a classroom throughout the semester have priority, so there is no guarantee that a classroom will be available for one time or occasional use, but we will do our best to accommodate every class we can. For more information about COHIC classrooms, click here. To reserve a classroom for occasional use, click here.

A computer classroom can be reserved for use for the entire semester. The policy is that each class has access to the classroom one time a week. In this way we can accommodate more classes. Space is limited so we cannot guarantee that every class that wants to reserve a classroom for the entire semester will be able to. However, we do our best to accommodate all the classes that would like to use a computer classroom once a week. It is expected that classes that use the classrooms on a regular basis have a technology component that takes advantage of the resources available in the classrooms.
